Founded in May 1949, Westfalia Fruit supplies fresh produce to retail, food service, and wholesale sectors worldwide.
The new website aims to provide users with a seamless and intuitive experience, featuring comprehensive details on Westfalia Fruit’s products and sustainable practices.
The homepage facilitates easy navigation to sections covering the company’s history, product offerings, sustainability initiatives, latest news, services, and recipes.
The site highlights Westfalia Fruit’s global reach across five continents and 17 countries, emphasizing the company’s dedication to quality and reliability. It showcases Westfalia’s journey from pit to plate, offering practical advice on incorporating healthy products into daily diets.
Westfalia Fruit’s new website also underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability and community development.
A dedicated sustainability page offers a dynamic overview of the organization’s efforts to reach net-zero by 2049. Vivid imagery and key facts educate and inspire users about sustainable practices.
The site details innovative practices like transforming leftover fruit into valuable products and implementing green cleaning technologies.
It also highlights the company’s involvement in community development through educational programs and essential services like healthcare.
This section provides insights into how Westfalia supports education and job creation, encouraging user engagement with these initiatives.

Expanding Footprint: Kenyan avocados arrive in India
In addition to the website launch, Westfalia Fruit marked another milestone with the arrival of the first sea-freighted shipment of Kenyan avocados to India. This strategic move expands Westfalia’s presence in the Indian market.
Zac Bard, Westfalia’s business development executive, described the achievement as a significant point of pride. “We are very proud to bring the first sea shipment of Kenyan avocados to India, building on our long-standing relationship with the largest Kenyan avocado grower and exporter,” he said.
Westfalia Fruit India has established itself as a leader in the local avocado market, consistently importing and distributing avocados from various regions.
The company manages over 60% of Tanzanian avocado imports into India and recently introduced Australian avocados, importing more than 85% of all Australian avocados in the first quarter of this year.
Westfalia Fruit’s new website and strategic market expansions underscore the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, sustainability, and community development.
