Share Logistics expands Caribbean presence with acquisition of Allways Transport

NETHERLANDS – Share Logistics has strengthened its foothold in the Caribbean by acquiring Allways Transport, a logistics services provider specializing in the Dutch Caribbean region.

Share Logistics, a global supply chain services provider, recently announced its acquisition of Allways Transport, a Netherlands and Bonaire-based company.

This move is a significant step in Share Logistics’ ongoing strategy to expand its services in the Caribbean region. Allways Transport, known for its expertise in end-to-end logistics, has been a key player in the Dutch Caribbean since 1985.

“We are delighted that Allways Transport has joined our group,” said Tristan Bierenbroodspot, Group CEO of Share Logistics. “Combining the specialized service offering, knowledge, and network that both our companies have in the region means that we will be able to offer more and better solutions to our customers.”

Allways Transport has built a strong reputation over the years, providing logistics services to and from Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saint Martin, Saba, and Sint Eustatius.

The company serves a variety of general cargo industries, with a notable presence in the food and beverage sector.

The integration of Caribbean activities from both companies has already begun, offering customers direct access to an enhanced range of services.

Moving forward, these operations will be conducted under the name Allways Transport – Part of the Share Logistics Family.

This acquisition is part of Share Logistics’ broader strategy of expanding its footprint in key markets through both organic growth and acquisitions.

In November 2022, Share Logistics was acquired by Groupe BBL, a France-based logistics service provider.

This acquisition aimed to enhance Groupe BBL’s capabilities in overseas transport, particularly in Europe and North and Latin America. Share Logistics also recently acquired VN Logistics, further strengthening its global service offerings.
