EUROPE – Omnivent, a leader in ventilation and cooling systems for crop storage, has officially joined Europatat, the European Potato Trade Association.

This collaboration marks a new chapter in Omnivent’s journey toward expanding its influence across the global agricultural sector.

Omnivent operates in over 60 countries, with major branches in the Netherlands and Poland, Poland. Since its inception in 1995, the Polish branch has steadily grown, broadening its scope and contributing to the company’s global impact.

Europatat recently expressed its pleasure in welcoming Omnivent, noting that the company brings valuable expertise to its members, who are involved in potato trade and processing throughout Europe.

“By joining Europatat, we aim to provide our knowledge and innovative solutions to an even larger network within the potato sector,” Omnivent said in a press release.

The company is well-known for its three specializations: ventilation technology, cooling technology, and wood systems, all essential for the long-term storage of potatoes and other crops.

Omnivent’s annual project portfolio includes 150 to 175 installations worldwide. The company is dedicated to advancing the agriculture industry by offering solutions that focus on both product quality and energy efficiency.

“We work with traditional farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs, and the processing industry, helping them maintain optimal product quality regardless of climate conditions,” Omnivent shared.

Among their latest developments is the OmniCuro storage control system, a groundbreaking technology designed to optimize the storage process. The system ensures that farmers can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, a vital aspect for the sustainability of agricultural storage.

This system, along with other innovations, will be showcased at PotatoEurope 2024, an annual event that brings together key players in the European potato industry.

Omnivent has been actively building strategic partnerships to expand its reach. A recent collaboration with Ross Enterprises aims to boost their market presence and enhance service delivery to the agricultural sector.

Additionally, Agrizone has been named Omnivent’s exclusive partner in a newly identified region, further demonstrating the company’s growth ambitions.

Europatat, an international non-profit association under Belgian law, represents a broad spectrum of traders, breeders, distributors, and storage owners.

Its members range from seed potato traders to food industry suppliers, and Omnivent’s inclusion is expected to bring valuable expertise to the association.

With its strong commitment to product quality, innovative technology, and global reach, Omnivent is well-positioned to make a significant impact within Europatat’s network.
