GLOBAL – MSC, a global shipping giant, is gearing up to showcase its reefer shipping innovations at Fruit Attraction 2024 and Expoalimentaria 2024, reinforcing its role in delivering high-quality, sustainable transport solutions for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Fruit attraction 2024
Taking place in Madrid from October 8 to 10, Fruit Attraction 2024 will bring together over 2,000 exhibitors from 56 countries.
MSC’s booth will be located at Hall 4, Stand 4C03, where the company will showcase its commitment to providing world-class reefer operations.
“We are excited to return to Fruit Attraction to discuss our tailored logistics solutions with professionals in the fresh produce industry,” MSC stated.
The company’s reefer fleet, equipped with cutting-edge technology, ensures fruits like raspberries from Serbia and avocados from Costa Rica are kept in optimal condition during transport. This guarantees that the produce reaches its destination fresh and ready for market.
The global fresh fruit and vegetable market is projected to exceed USD 939.5 billion by 2028, and MSC’s comprehensive land and sea network plays a critical role in supporting this growth.
The company’s sustainable transport solutions include energy-efficient refrigeration units, such as R-513A and Naturaline® units, which reduce food loss and environmental impact.
Expoalimentaria 2024
From September 25 to 27, MSC will participate in Expoalimentaria 2024, Latin America’s leading event for the food and beverage sector.
Held at the Centro de Exposiciones Jockey in Lima, Peru, this event will highlight MSC’s long-standing commitment to serving Peruvian producers.
At Booth E56-E59, MSC will showcase solutions like eBL (Electronic Bill of Lading) and Smart Containers, aimed at improving transport efficiency.
Additionally, MSC will highlight its recent port expansions in Pisco and Salaverry, which enhance access to key fruit-growing regions in Peru. These new ports reinforce MSC’s role in supporting Peru’s vital fresh produce export market.
“We continue to adapt and expand our services to meet the growing needs of our clients,” MSC said. “Our solutions, such as the use of biofuel to reduce emissions, show our dedication to sustainability in the transportation of perishable goods.”
Addressing Asia’s booming fresh fruit market
