ECUADOR – MSC, a key player in refrigerated cargo, will showcase its cutting-edge logistics solutions at the XXI International Banana Convention 2024 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from October 22-25.
Organized by the Association of Ecuadorian Banana Exporters (AEBE), the event is set to attract around 6,000 participants and features 68 exhibitors and 80 companies.
As Ecuador leads the world in banana exports, MSC plays a crucial role in ensuring that this valuable commodity reaches global markets in optimal condition. MSC’s refrigerated cargo fleet, the largest of its kind, guarantees the efficient transport of bananas, preserving quality from farm to market.
“Our focus is on providing tailored logistics solutions that support Ecuador’s banana export industry,” said an MSC spokesperson. “We ensure that the bananas arrive fresh and on time, no matter the destination.”
Visitors can find MSC at Booth #22 in Isabella Hall, where experts will be available to offer advice on refrigerated equipment and specialized reefer solutions for transporting perishable goods.
MSC at Fruit Attraction 2024
Shortly after the Banana Convention, MSC will take part in Fruit Attraction 2024, held in Madrid, Spain, from October 8-10.
With over 2,000 exhibitors from 56 countries, Fruit Attraction is one of the largest global events dedicated to fresh produce marketing and innovation.
MSC will present its latest advances in cold chain technology, showcasing its commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable transport solutions.
The company’s reefer fleet is equipped with energy-efficient cooling units, such as the R-513A and Naturaline® systems, which significantly reduce the environmental impact of transporting fruits like bananas, raspberries, and avocados.
“Fruit Attraction is a perfect platform for us to demonstrate our global reefer operations,” said the MSC representative. “We are committed to sustainability, and our cooling technologies are designed to minimize food loss and ensure efficient energy use.”
Attendees at Fruit Attraction 2024 can meet MSC experts at Hall 4, Stand 4C03, where they will be available to discuss logistics strategies and the company’s worldwide sea and inland transport network.
Commitment to sustainability and market growth
As global demand for fresh produce rises, with sales projected to exceed $939.5 billion by 2028, MSC remains committed to supporting local producers with fast and reliable logistics solutions.
The company’s cold chain innovations not only reduce food waste but also promote sustainability in the growing fruit and vegetable markets.
