Global Vertical Farming Show 2024: A Hub for future food solutions

UAE – Dubai is gearing up for the 5th Global Vertical Farming Show, set to be a pivotal event in transforming food systems and enhancing global food security.

“Our goal with ECO1 is to set a benchmark for sustainable agriculture in the region,” noted a spokesperson from Emirates Flight Catering.

Other UAE ventures include Bustanica in Dubai and Pure Harvest Smart Farms in Abu Dhabi. These farms are setting new standards by optimizing plant growth and minimizing water use through advanced indoor farming techniques.

Abu Dhabi is also planning to build the largest indoor vertical farm globally, spanning 8,200 square meters, to grow produce like lettuce, cabbages, and tomatoes.
