GERMANY – Fruit Logistica, a global trade fair for the fresh produce industry, is scheduled to take place from 7 to 9 February 2024 at Messe Berlin following the successful completion of the 2023 in-person meeting.
The trade fair will display fresh produce, organic products, and innovative solutions in equipment and machinery, covering all main product categories.
Many events will occupy the trade show’s venue, featuring established companies from more than 80 countries in three main themed areas: Logistics, Machinery/Technologies, and Organic-Route.
Moreover, part of the Fruit Logistica 2024 schedule will be the trademark-supporting event Fresh Produce Forum, focusing on the key issues directly affecting the industry.
Other exhibition features will include Start-up Day, Future Lab, and the Tech Stage. This edition will also host the annual Fruit Logistica Innovation Awards, recognizing outstanding innovations in the fruit and vegetable supply chain in Germany and abroad.
According to the event organizers FRUIT LOGISTICA Online and the FRUIT LOGISTICA app will also be available during the trade fair, offering numerous networking opportunities and other valuable benefits for exhibitors and other attending professionals.
Fruit Logistica 2023 came to a successful conclusion gathering 63,470 trade visitors and buyers from over 140 countries as well as 2,610 exhibitors from 92 countries.
Taking as its slogan ’All in One’ the event celebrated its thirtieth anniversary and from 8 to 10 February showcased the entire value chain of the fresh produce sector.
“We are very satisfied. Exhibitor and visitor numbers are nearing pre-pandemic levels again,” said Kai Mangelberger, project manager for FRUIT LOGISTICA.
“Over 40 national representations occupied displays larger than before the pandemic, including that of Spain.”
Rijk Zwaan present their Fruit Logistica 2024 theme
Rijk Zwaan, a vegetable breeding company, has unveiled the theme, ‘Freshly Forward, from Foundation to Future’ to encapsulate its roadmap for tackling today’s challenges, together with its partners.
The company will be presenting robust and resilient solutions as well as inspiring innovations at Fruit Logistica 2024.
“In this event, we have a lot on show, from our four colors in the Sweet Palermo range, to our high-resistance tomato varieties (HR), Rugose Defense, to our inspirational lettuce concepts, such as Salanova and Crunchy Lettuce,” announced the company representative.
“We also have lots of organic vegetables at our stand and, of course, our Fruit Logistica Innovation Award 2023-winning Tatayoyo.”
