QATAR – Qatar Airways, a global airline, has joined hands with local farms and Evergreens Organics to present an exclusive organic menu onboard in celebration of EXPO 2023 Doha.
The airline’s culinary upgrade will be available for passengers traveling from Doha until March 2024.
The airline’s renowned Business Class Cabin, lauded as the World’s Best, will now offer specially crafted beverages inspired by the Horticultural Expo.
Expertly curated by Ghanim Al Sulaiti, a well-known healthy food connoisseur from Evergreen Organics, these beverages complement the new à la carte menu.
Among the highlights is the Super Food Salad, meticulously crafted from organic ingredients sourced from Safwa, a Qatari farm under the Alfardan Group’s umbrella, committed to providing top-notch local produce.
Not limiting the celebration to Business Class, Economy Class travelers will also partake in the EXPO spirit. Cutlery bands will showcase the vibrant colors of the EXPO, and desserts will feature a chocolate disk displaying the event’s logo.
Additionally, complementing this culinary delight, the airline’s Oryx One Inflight Entertainment System will treat passengers to over 30 botanical shows.
These include engaging programs like ‘Martha Knows Best,’ ‘Vegetable Garden,’ and ‘The Future of Water.’ Passengers will be invited to explore the horticultural wonders right from their seats, fostering a unique and immersive experience.

Meanwhile, as the Official Airline and Strategic Partner of Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Airways is currently showcasing the “Qatar Airways Garden,” a mesmerizing attraction intertwined with the event.
The garden is a testament to Qatar’s modernity fused with its cherished traditions drawing inspiration from global botanical wonders and paying homage to the Gardens of Versailles.
Other sustainability-inclined companies in that space include Evergreen Organics. Established in 2016 by Ghanim Alsulaiti and Jowaher Alfardan, the café stands as Qatar’s pioneering plant-based café, offering an entirely vegan dining experience in alignment with eco-conscious practices.
Safwa Farm, also at the expo and a subsidiary of Alfardan Group and spearheaded by Founder and General Manager Mr. Fardan Fahad Alfardan, prioritizes delivering top-tier local produce grown through cutting-edge farming technology that safeguards the environment.
The farm utilizes innovative techniques to grow high-quality produce without soil, ensuring customers experience the freshest and finest local harvests.
EXPO 2023 Doha, scheduled from October 2023 to March 2024 at the picturesque Al Bidda Park, anticipates drawing around three million international visitors.
The event offers diverse experiences encompassing stunning gardens, enlightening discussions, art exhibitions, culinary delights, and a focal point on innovative approaches to combat desertification.
