CarrieAnn Arias appointed as President and CEO of Pear Bureau Northwest

USA – Pear Bureau Northwest (PBNW) has announced the appointment of CarrieAnn Arias as the organization’s new President and CEO, effective July 1.

CarrieAnn brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as Founder/CEO of TableSpark, Vice President of Marketing at Naturipe Farms, and Vice President of Marketing at Dole Food Company.

CarrieAnn’s extensive background in produce marketing and team leadership makes her a valuable addition to PBNW. She has successfully driven market growth and built strong industry relationships throughout her career.

“I am thrilled to join the Pear Bureau and lead this incredible team,” CarrieAnn said. “Together, we will continue to build on the Bureau’s strong foundation and promote pears in the US and around the world.”

CarrieAnn’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence aligns with PBNW’s strategic goals.

She emphasized her dedication to these principles, stating, “I am committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence as we work to achieve our strategic goals.”

CarrieAnn succeeds Kevin Moffitt, who held the President and CEO position since 2001. The transition marks a new chapter for PBNW, and the organization is confident in CarrieAnn’s ability to lead.

Jordan Matson, PBNW Chairman, expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointment, saying, “I am very pleased to have CarrieAnn on board with her decades of produce marketing experience. I believe she is going to do a great job of furthering the mission to increase fresh pear consumption among consumers worldwide and continue to increase grower returns.”

CarrieAnn’s vision for PBNW includes continuing to build on the organization’s strong foundation and promoting pears both domestically and internationally.

Her experience in marketing and leadership will be instrumental in achieving these goals.

 CarrieAnn concluded by thanking the Board of Directors for their confidence in her leadership, saying, “I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their faith in me in taking on this important responsibility, and I look forward to leading the dedicated PBNW team as we begin this new chapter together.”
